WELLNESS: Feeling Positively Juiced
It's been 150 days! That's right I've been cold-pressed juicing for 150 straight days!
It was June of last year when I was introduced to Anna in the Raw at a Women's Wellness Retreat. She introduced us to cold-pressed juice. It was delicious and full of only the good stuff your body can use.
From that day on I would occasionally buy cold-pressed at a juice shop, or from the refrigerated section in the health food aisle. The only problem was that it was getting pricy and I wasn't drinking it consistently. That all changed when I received a money gift for Christmas and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I decided to buy myself a gift. A gift of wellness. I purchased a Breville cold-pressed juicer that arrived on December 31st and I've been fresh, cold-pressed juicing everyday since!
I absolutely love it! There are so many tasty combinations. The benefits you ask? Well, since starting I've lost a bit of weight, but mostly I feel fantastic and my skin looks great! All around health inside and out!
Here are just a few of my favorite recipes.
Lately I've been into daily green juicing for less sugar (even though it's natural). Kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, lemon and for a touch of sweetness maybe a pear, or pineapple or yellow apple and sometimes mint. Recently I purchased a bunch of larger 32 oz. Ball jars so I can double up my recipe for two servings. This saves me a bit of time in the mornings during the week.
This is definitely a way of life for me. I can't imagine stopping what I've come to love every day. In fact, if I had the money or an investor I'd definitely open up my own juice shop. I think I'd call it Positively Juiced! Anyone looking for an investment opportunity?!
